Those of us who love greyhounds know how special they are. We change our homes, our cars, our beds - and they change our lives. So, fair warning, learning about greyhounds is the first step in changing your life and theirs.

Note #1: The pronoun "he" is used throughout this guide to denote either sex of dog. I'm not being sexist, though I do have a thing for the male dogs. It's just more convenient to use "he" as a generic reference.

Note #2: This Guide was originally written in 1995, and it has stood the test of time. It's been translated for use in Europe, and is used by many U.S. adoption groups, too.

Note #3: All adoption groups are welcome to link to this Guide. Just email me to let me know, and do put up a link to the Gang's site. I also offer Greyhound Guide, wholesale, in booklet form to adoption groups for use with prospective adopters.
